1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

I like these Loadstar tires. I haven't gotten high mileage from them -- maybe 20k I think, but they've never let me down on the road. Speed limits in western states probably are higher than these tires should run but I've used them at these speeds at 95 degrees outside without issue. Shop around for them, and the etrailer tire/wheel combo is worth it if you buy here. Tire shops tell me the wheel steel isn't stout and that I should deflate to about 30 psi when possible to avoid distorting the wheels. The tires are rated for about 50psi at max load.

Well, I haven't opened the boxes yet that my order came in, but I'll save this link for when I do open them. Let me just say that I was impressed that the tires I had ordered for my trailer came in boxes, and I was pleasantly surprised. As one that works in the freight business, I can tell you that tires take a beating in the shipping process if they aren't mounted on a wheel. So, I could tell my tires had arrived in excellent shape because the box wasn't damaged.

Still going strong!
I have had great service from these tires as they came OEM on my trailer. I keep 50psi air in them and check them periodically. Etrailer has the best price on these. Local tire dealers can’t get them or charge double the price of Etrailer. Fast shipping. Came in individual boxes so tire is in great shape ready for mounting. I have seen other tires shipped from other places bound very tight with tape and distorted. When I saw a review of how Etrailer ships tires, I knew this would be the place to order them. I am glad Etrailer is there for us all!

Tires are doing great. One tip. Get these mounted using heavy duty valve stems. Have the wheels balanced and you are in for a smooth worry free ride. I am confident going down the road with my Kenda Load Stars

Delivered right on time. Excellent service. The last set of these tires lasted 7 years sitting outside with no covers. Great tread wear, but the elements finally cracked the sidewalls. Even with the cracks, no leaks.

Good tires for a work trailer they showed up on time and in good condition.
I received my tire I will install it tomorrow. I don’t see the date number on it nor I didn’t a package list on it. But I will give a star when I get mounted, on the trailer. Tire looks okay

Received order in about a week. etrailer even made price adjustment due to price drop on this tire after order date. Good fit after install. Same tire used by utility trailer mfg. —still in good shape after 11 yrs, replaced due to age of original tires.
Was able to match same tire and wheel to existing on new trailer I purchased. With the great descriptions and photos on etrailer's website I was confidant my purchase would match and they did.
They are just like the original tires that came on the trailer. They’re mounted and riding good .

For the past 12 years Ive only bought Loadstar trailer tires for the vintage trailer I work on, I havent had a single problem with anyone them. You keep making them Ill keep buying them.
the tires came in a box strap so tight they looked like pancakes. had a very rough time getting them on the wheel, got one that will not seal, going to take it to a tire shop to fill it hopefully the side wall is ok because it was so flat I don't think the side wall is going to pop out without breaking the ply.
The two tires arrived in a timely manner. However one tire was squeezed together and the mechanic had a tough time mounting that tire on the wheel. Overall a good product at a fair price.
Tires were flat and the company that installed them said it took over one hour apiece to get the tires to seal on the rim

Tires just arrived today so installation is still pending BECAUSE out of 4 trailer tires, which usually all ship in their single tire box, THREE of them were bound so tight and flat inside a SINGLE tire box that I first thought I had been sent bicycle tires! The tires were immediately cut from their bindings, and hopefully they will reform enough to be safely mounted! They have been out of their box for hours, and the two tires that were on the outer sides of the bunch still show DEEP deformities in the side walls! SEE PHOTOS ATTACHED!

They do look very squished, very much so. But since these are bias ply, they will be fine once installed and inflated. They are actually sent to us like that from the manufacturer. I attached a link that goes into a little more detail but the bottom line is the integrity of the tire isn't compromised :)
Great price for brand I was looking for, reasonably quick delivery. Tires were compressed for shipping and were difficult to open up, did not form to shape until on rim and aired up. Concerned mis-shaping may affect tire life.

The Kenda AM1ST92 tire carries an M speed rating, which is good for speeds up to 81 mph. Unlike passenger car tires that can be ran at varying pressures with no problem, trailer tires have a thicker sidewall. Because of this, they need to be ran at the maximum pressure listed on the sidewall or excessive heat will build up in the tire which will reduce its life.
